Orchard House Winery wedding of Kayte and Kurt

An Orchard House Winery Wedding is the perfect choice for wedding couples who long to celebrate in the sweet air of the country, yet appreciate sophisticated urban amenities! When I arrived, I was super impressed by the layout of this place. One of the first things you will notice is the vast acreage, with graciously appointed indoor and outdoor spaces for both a ceremony and reception.

The staff collaborated with the bride to really put the “darling” into the details! If you are looking for interesting and unusual displays for your wedding, look no further: Here are some fun ideas to get you started! My favorites are the wagon wheel picture display and the doughnut pegboard (looks like it’s having some visitors!).

Kayte dressed in the wine cellar, a cheerful setting where one is greeted by charming historic furnishings, enveloped by great barrels, filled with the vintage grape, soon to be trickled into goblets for toasting. She, her mom and maid of honor helped Kayte get into her wedding gown. I photographed a closeup of the rings by cradling them in her bouquet, then arranged a photograph with her wedding shoes, necklace, and a special linen piece, hand-embroidered by her mom!

The lovely floral trellis welcomed wedding guests into the ceremonial grotto where Kayte and Kurt exchanged their vows with a mixture of humor and raw emotion. FY I: a large capacity tent can be erected for both the ceremony and reception, or you may choose to have your wedding held indoors. Rain or shine, for any Orchard House Winery wedding, the show will go on!

In the first few moments that the couple has together, I like to capture their raw, unprompted emotions. As they strolled out into the winery's wooded area, I grabbed some playful images of them behind the bride's entryway and then I worked with them together and separately to get their best expression and pose.
