Gish Barn Wedding of Molly and Tyler

This was my first Gish Barn Wedding, but after I tell the world about it, I'm sure it won't be the last! This magical place is centered on 100-acre farmland, with scenic views overlooking a gorgeous valley in Rittman Ohio. The Gish Barn is located just minutes west of Akron Ohio and an hour south of Cleveland, access is easy from several major highways. With its spacious, brightly lit interior, and rough-hewn vaulted ceilings, it is the perfect place for a rustic, yet elegant barn wedding.

With the barn doors swung wide open, Molly and Tyler had their “First Look” in the entrance to the reception area. Molly tapped her groom lightly on the shoulder and Tyler turned around to behold his lovely bride. Bathed in the glow of a sunny fall day, they took turns reading love letters to each other while I quietly clicked away, getting some tender moments for their wedding album.

Molly and Tyler chose to have their ceremony in the wooded area, which is popular for outdoor wedding ceremonies and landscaped to highlight the barn's natural beauty and history. Floral arrangements placed in glass vases sat on upended logs that lined the aisle. With plenty of foliage, I was able to get some great candids of the couple's vow exchange and guests without being noticed.

After the ceremony, we stepped into the fall countryside for some photo-ops. The backdrops of the barn and cornfield made for some spectacular backdrops for the romantic wedding couple. And, of course, Molly and Tyler simply could NOT pass up the sweetheart swing!

Before I left for the day, I took some time to capture the last image of Molly and Tyler's Gish Barn wedding at sunset.
