Need inspiration? Akron Art Museum wedding of Nick and Jamael
This blog post is part of a series I’m doing on out-of-the-box weddings. In this episode, you’ll see how one of Akron’s beacons of culture can do much more than showcase fabulous works of art!
The Akron Art Museum is an expansive glass and steel structure that features a three-story glass-enclosed lobby. With a direct connection to the art galleries, your guests can enjoy a leisurely stroll amongst paintings and sculptures.
The video will feature the wedding of Nick and Jamael Scucs from start to finish. You’ll see how the cultural elements of the museum add fun and excitement to the ceremony and reception. You’ll also experience my fly-on-the-wall approach to photographing weddings; during the ceremony, I photographed from many different angles, all without the guests even noticing my presence!
If you’re thinking of having a summer wedding ceremony, you won’t have to worry about the weather here. I’m sure that you will find being able to bring the outdoors to your ceremony, without having to actually be outdoors is a big bonus.
So grab a latte and Peek into Jamael and Nick’s day from the video below!
