If you are looking for wedding inspiration for your Celtic wedding in Cleveland, Ohio, I hope that this blog post will inspire you!
Here is Jennifer and Joshua’s wedding story:
“My husband and I started out as best friends and fell in love thru life’s ups and downs . We came together in love with our Irish roots (both family backgrounds coming from Co. Cork Ireland) we were originally supposed to marry in Ireland on the cliffs of Moher but due to life’s current events were forced to have the traditional local church wedding. So we brought Ireland to Ohio. Bagpipes ,kilts, swords and shamrocks were the link to our roots we needed and God gave us the rest ; friends , family sunshine and a castle to make our day magical.”
It was a perfect day, with lots of sunshine, both outside and inside, and on everyone’s faces; there’s something about an Irish wedding that makes people happy! And with a bagpiper’s notes wafting in the background, how could you go wrong?
Squire’s Castle was a great location to photograph the wedding party in their Celtic regalia. The groom and groomsmen posed proudly with their guilded swords, and the emerald of the bridesmaid’s dresses bloomed out from the fall foliage.
There is nothing like a castle and a golden sunset to spark romance, and it was plainly evident in the images that I captured for Jennifer and Joshua; they really got into their theme, which made for some truly memorable images!
I’d love to hear about your Irish wedding. What ideas do you have so far? Do you have any questions? Would you like to see more from this wedding?
