In a related blog post, I showed how the typical mugshot engagement photography can be turned on its ear to become a really powerful portrayal of the real you; you and your future partner together, in a unique setting, languishing in the joys of togetherness. And the place that you choose should be special to you. In this post, I’m showcasing an Ashtabula Engagement Session.
In this example, I’m showcasing the dream engagement session of my clients, Michelle and Jeff, who chose to eschew the tried and true for a nostalgic adventure. It features an antique automobile, vintage attire and a little imagination. My clients really felt strongly about having a covered bridge as the backup for their Ashtabula engagement photography. When I heard that, I was intrigued. So I met them there on a gorgeous late summer evening. We chatted briefly and then turned back the clock to a simpler time.
Does this post spark your imagination? Do you have a unique idea for a themed engagement session? A place that is special to you, perhaps where you first met? As a visual storyteller, I am always looking for couples who want photographs that will document their romantic adventure.
